These terms govern your use of PoolVen, operated by Pool Ventures Ltd. (Nairobi, Kenya). By creating an account or using the platform you agree to them.
You must be at least 18 and complete identity verification (KYC) before investing. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials and M-Pesa PIN secure. One account per person.
Investments are made into vetted startup raises and held in milestone escrow, released to founders only as independently verified milestones are met. Vetting reduces but does not remove risk; see the Risk Disclosure. PoolVen earns a listing fee and a 1% transaction fee.
Contributions to a county pool are voluntary civic donations recorded on a public blockchain ledger. KSh 1 of each contribution funds PoolVen operations; the remainder funds the chosen county pool. Contributions are non-refundable once confirmed on-chain.
You may not use PoolVen for fraud, money laundering, or any unlawful purpose, nor attempt to circumvent identity verification or abuse the dispute process. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms.
PoolVen is an intermediary, not a financial adviser. Nothing on the platform is investment advice. To the extent permitted by law, Pool Ventures Ltd. is not liable for investment losses arising from startup performance.
